\"\"<\/a>The two American artists, John Baldessari and Lawrence Weiner, have been friends ever since the beginning of their careers in the 1960s. Here, they get together with the British artist Liam Gillick in New York for a discussion that is moderated by Beatrix Ruf, Director of the Kunsthalle Z\u00fcrich. The use of the metaphor has from time immemorial been a central process of art, and it represents an important problem for all three artists here, who work with language, film and installations. Their exciting and passionate discussion leads to a new perception of the methaphor and the function of art and architecture, of the role and interests of artists and imparters of art.
